Let

Humankind is God's most prized accomplishment. Humans are the only thing in the universe that were made in God's image and likeness. We are linked to God in a way that no other form of matter in all creation is. We are partnered with God. Of ourselves we are nothing and without us God is not complete.

I hear people say that they either don't need God or that they will let God do everything for them. What we actually have is a relationship with God. I shall reiterate that it is our job to do and it is God's job to manifest. We must quit making and begin letting. I can't make therefore by letting God do what God does I find I am not overwhelmed. I just DO!

I am a co-creator with God. I begin by meditating and praying until I get my inspiration. Then I take whatever action necessary, which is my DO. Then I let God do what God does and I LET. With simple readjustment of my life I have found peace and serenity. I don't fight or struggle. I simply LET.

It is through spiritual inspiration that I get my direction. It is confidence in my direction that provides my perseverance. It is also my confidence that provides the patience to wait until God accomplishes manifestation. Sometimes manifestation is not coherent with my goals. When this happens I return to prayer and meditation and wait for further guidance. When the guidance comes I resume my journey.

As I more consciously practice this process I get better at it. As anything in life it improves with practice. A golfer cannot expect to stand over a ball for the first time and hit a shot like a professional. The primary thing that separates an amateur from a professional is years of practice and determination. It is with this knowledge that I leave you with...

Grief

This afternoon I attended a memorial service for my friend Chuck. Although I felt love for his return to God and his extended spiritual quest, I felt great sadness for his wife Pam. I realized that my sadness was spurred by the thoughts of my life, if I lost my wife, Jan.

All feelings are associated with personal experience. We could feel no sadness in our lives if we had never experience sadness in our lives. Sadness is selfish and personal. Sadness is feeling sorry for ourselves for our loss. We are sorry for ourselves and how life affects us. We are all we think about even when we seem to be thinking of others.

I share this introspection as it is a piece of our character experienced through our human nature. Our spiritual nature is God's nature of grace or unconditional love. We must learn to understand our dual natures and be free to experience them both to their fullest. I explain our consciousness and try to not judge them as good or bad. I love all my feelings as they are full expression of both my natures.

We must all learn to support others in their times of need and equally allow them to support us in ours. We are given opportunities to help each other as we are all equally loved by God and for us to have a vertical relationship with God we must freely love one another. The key to living a great life is to be great and support each other's greatness. To help people bridge the gap between Ego and Soul we must all reach the summit of life together. This is why I always leave my readers with...

Entitlement

I seldom do what I am about to do and want to apologize in advance. I usually hear plenty of debate, which I truly love. My political rant is this: I have two fiscal criticisms; one is that we must pay down our dept, period, and second that we must get the people of this country back into the steam of opportunity and God's grace by removing all thought of public entitlement. No one is entitled to anything but the love and support of God.My political agenda this campaign period is simple. First is our mammoth outstanding public debt, which as of 15 May 2012 at 04:45:47 PM GMT is $15,689,127,765,893.58. I have heard people say that we are at a point that we cannot recover from such debt. I for one am neither convince nor willing to see our country collapse through neglect. And as we are made in the image and likeness of God we are never limited by anything other than our perceived limitations.

Countries other than us dealing with tremendous debt include but are not limited to Italy, Greece, Ireland, Portugal, Spain and France, several countries spotted around the world. Our ability to continually print money and expand our inflation is the only thing that has kept us from facing our tremendous dept. If the American dollar were not at the center of world finance we would not be able to inflate our money in order to avoid paying our dept. The problem is that the more we inflate our money the deeper in dept we get.

The other problem we have in this country is the idea of entitlement. The people of this country have learned to look to the government for resolve, neglecting to remember that this country is of and by the people. The responsibility of this country lies on the shoulder of each and every one of us as we are the people eventually responsible for all that our government does. It is not hard to believe that the recent financial problems of this countries individuals is identical to the governments in that we are financially over extended.

The term entitlement seems to be the political term of the day. It is true that this country has taken a tremendous amount of programs originally designed to help us through difficult time and extending them into good times. This compiling of social benefits has become financially not viable. This entitlement is the cause of the government unable to stop enabling people to not stand on their own two feet.

This inability to face our entitlement obstruction is politically motivated toward votes? I wonder if it is even possible for candidates of any political position willing to express the truth to achieve the position necessary for resolve attainment. It is vitally necessity to remove all waste from government cost. It is a combination of the cost of running such a huge government and the lack of productivity leading us to a trade deficit that is the primary reason for our financial disarray.

I am sorry if this rant discovers that you too have an opinion but that is the primary reason I rant in the first place. I am often asked what I expect from my books and I always remark, "HMMMM!" I want you all to think. I want all of you to believe in something. As far back as 1947, Peter Marshall prayed, "Give to us clear vision that we may know where to stand and what to stand for, because unless we stand for something, we shall fall for anything.

Quotes

I have been collecting quotes for over thirty years. A quote to me is like a charge of nitro to a racecar. It reminds me of how simple a solution can be and how much I need to be reminded of the greatness in all of us. We can never be reminded to often about our natural uniqueness and greatness.

I have quotes that date back as many as five thousand years. I am often surprised how much the problems and solutions of many millennium ago are so applicable to today's social dilemmas. I guess the problems may look a lot different but they are solved with simple solutions.

Quotes are also called sound bites, excerpts, passage or references. I use so many of these a friend of mine found many in my writings and calls them Ekisms. I try to add to my list and put them on my web site under the Ekisms tab found at: Ekismshttp://www.bizwiz3d.com/Ekisms.html .

If you would like a quote about a certain subject just email me at randyek@cox.net. Until then let people raise your consciousness with their wisdom and remember...

Judgment

"Judge not, that ye be not judged," is taken from Matthew 7:1 of the King James Version of the Holy Bible. This statement is often quoted yet seldom understood. One can only judge life on a single premise therefore we can only judge others with the same set of standards we have set for ourselves. This is why whenever we are hard on others we are equally hard on ourselves.

Judgment should be left in the hands of God as God is grace and non-judgmental. As we are made in God's image we separate ourselves from God's grace when we judge period. Judgment is a practice of Ego and Ego separates us from God when we don't adhere to the laws of the Universe or stay in God's grace. When we live in the now we live without judgment.

When focused in our conscious mind we truly experience our lives, undaunted by judgment. Judgment steps in when our thoughts retreat into our subconscious mind, retrieving beliefs, fabricated from past experiences and compare them to our current experience. Judgment is always founded on opinion as truth is in the eye of the beholder only. Now is the only true reality and it is for our experience and education and not for us to sit in judgment.

Let us all refrain from judgment and bask merely in the experience of life in the now; for it is the only time and place that God exists. It is in meditation that I find the solace of God as it is the only place I can separate God from all the other thoughts in my head. It is this reality that I always leave you with...

Pleasure

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." Matthew 6:24 King James version of the Holy Bible. God is of our spiritual nature and mammon is of our human nature or as I like to call Ego. Happiness is of God, while pleasure is of the Ego. Pleasure not only doesn't serve God it dissolves our long term happiness.

One of the most influential antagonists of my happiness is serving mammon over God through the portal of pleasure. I can easily justify pleasure in recognition of my emotions but emotions are a poor determinant of spiritual growth. Emotions are more a byproduct of Ego. I often hear someone explain that so or so made me feel something and I try to explain that their are only two true feeling, love and fear. Emotions are the variations of response to our feelings. What most people call feelings are actually emotions.

The problem that humankind has is settling for pleasure. Settling allows us to stay in a rut and not continually grow in the image and likeness of God. This does not work in the long term as God has a fail safe plan for our salvation. God helps prevent us from stagnation as this creates separation from God who is dynamic. This separation creates pain and eventually the pain becomes unbearable.

In prayer and meditation I ask for God to guide my thoughts, which eventually determines my actions. If I am constantly asking God to help me know God better I am asking for guidance toward my own greatness. I not only pray for greatness for myself, I pray for greatness in order to help lead others toward their greatness. This is the essence of my newest book project called, "Made In The Image and Likeness." It is also why I leave you with...

Choices

I have had an incredible week since my last blog. It seems as though making choices for one's health is not seen as very popular. Many people said, "No way I could live without meat." They have also said, "If you go vegan what will you do for protein?." People seem to have very little understanding of food and/or nutrition.

My primary research in food and nutrition started over five years ago when my wife, Jan, had chemotherapy for her breast cancer and developed fibromyalgia. I can tell you that if living our life as a Vegan cure for my wife's fibromyalgia, it will be the best life style change I have made since I quit drinking over thirty years ago. Back then they said,"I can't imagine never drinking again." Sometimes that which we can't imagine, may just be the thing we most need to do.

We all should make choices that enhance our lives, even if it means changing life styles. Many times I have found that my life style was the contributing factor to my lack of health or unhappiness. When I began working out daily, I found new energy and began to regain my esteem. Many factors provide us with great esteem and until we find greatness we merely settle.

Both conscious and subconscious greatness is a byproduct of physical, mental and spiritual confidence. We must never settle as we are constantly being offered new levels of greatness. This is why many people find periods of greatness merely to fall back into commonness. Success is not forever unless one continues to raise the bar on their successes. I read a road sign many years ago that said, "Life is not a resting place; it is a testing place.

Life is a series of opportunities to overcome obstacles. Either we overcome these obstacles or they continue to surface. Our spirit will guide us to our ultimate potential. It is through prayer and meditation that we encounter and learn to trust God through our spirit. It is the constant awareness of spirit that I have committed my life.

Prevention

Well I am finally back from vacation! Twenty-four days of travel and resting on a leisurely cruise in the Asian Pacific left me hours to read and research. One of the books I read was called The China Study. This book showed comprehensible evidence that animal protein is the primary component responsible for all affluent disease(cancer, heart disease, diabetes{type 1 & 2}, auto-immune). A list of animal protein includes all meat(all meat, foul & fish), all milk products and all egg products.  Food manufacturers cleverly interject animal protein in all processed foods so one must remain vigilant in watching for varied types and amounts of these products.

This report found 99.9% recovery from all affluent diseases when subjects reduced their consumption of animal protein from the average American's consumption of 35-45% of their daily diet as animal protein to 5-10%. It seems that it is not good enough to avoid excessive fat and red meat, sticking with chicken and fish, but to reduce all animal protein to less than 10% of one's diet. Most of the healthier countries in the world use animal protein primarily as flavoring, which provides them 5-10% of their diet.

One must also search diligently for the truth about good health as most of our medical schools are being subsidized by animal protein corporations(dairy associations, egg industry and beef, chicken, pork, etc. associations) and pharmaceutical associations which help direct their studies.

It seems that all my years of justifying my bad eating habits by criticizing vegan lifestyles has compelled me to make an amend. Of course I have an addictive personality so for me it has to be all or nothing so I have decided to make my amends to Vegans everywhere by pledging a year as a Vegan. I will report my results honestly and openly.

As I believe that we are designed to live in perfect health, I have embarked on a unbiased look for optimum prevention. I am working to transfer all my ideas from pathological(the systemic study of the nature of disease and its causes) to apithological(the systemic study of the nature of wellness and its causes). We must repair the damage done to our system(physical, mental and emotional) and inaugurate preventative measures in order to give our body, mind and spirit an opportunity to reach optimal health.

My wife suffers side effects from chemotherapy treatments during her bout with cancer a few years ago, the worst being fibromyalgia. We have tried all forms of current medical treatment other than medicines as I am not a fan of pharmaceutical treatment. This challenging research has convinced me that when it comes to western medicine, they have been chasing their tails. Modern medicine has been fighting disease the way religion has been fighting the devil.

Metaphysical law states that whatever you fight you empower, therefore we must stop fighting the illusion of dis-ease and focus all our energy on perfect health. Affluent diseases are a byproduct of autoimmune disorders, which are caused by consuming products that create allergic reactions that promote dis-ease. I believe that when we turn our attention to perfect health, both physically and mentally, we will eventually win the war. I will continue to fight for perfect health even if it takes the rest of my life. I guess that is why I always leave you with...

Goals & Plans

Motivational enthusiasts have been preaching about goals and plans for centuries. These processes seem to make sense at a mechanical level but what about a metaphysical level? Could it be that goals and plans have something to do with the order of the universe? Are goals and plans that critical for success? Could these ideas actually be cosmic laws?

Let's look at the facts. First, we are all made in God's image. Second, due to the incredible order of the universe there must have been a goal in God's mind and plans necessary for their consummation. After God created the universe he looked it all over and said, "it is very good." Although humans see fault in God's goal and plans, in God's eyes they are all perfect with still more plans necessary for ultimate execution. Never judge genius till the work is done.

God has a job description and that is to ANSWER PRAYER. Knowing God should always be our first prayer. We must closely follow our first prayer with a second, which is to ask God to deliver our "heart's desire." We are all given a "heart's desire." It is our heart's desire and all the passion that comes with it that should become our goal. Once this goal is established we continue to pray for God to show us the plans necessary for our goal's fruition. With enough faith that God will do what God says he will do we need only begin to find room for all the greatness God is sure to deliver. It is this faith that we end all prayers, "Amen," or "so be it."

After having followed my own advice I can guarantee that this process will work. I have seen it work for clients and friends for over thirty years. It is my faith in God and the process of goals and plans that I always leave my readers with...

Lessons

I used to think I was being punished when my life didn't go the way I expected it to go. Then I was exposed to the process of inventorying my life. It was at this point that I realized every experience is filled with life lessons. In fact when I do my annual inventory I find that when I revisit old experiences I find that I always uncover new hidden lessons that I wasn't able to understand in earlier versions. In fact I have noticed that in reality I have never actually made a mistake as all roads seem to eventually lead to the my ultimate potential.

Although I cannot block God's plan for me, I can certainly make the road painful. God is in charge of all knowledge and God make it all available, all the time. All knowledge seems to be built upon other knowledge in a linear fashion. Knowledge is a working part of change and change is constant. The great revelation is that when we need to know, we seem to find what we need. If I would have known this at an earlier age I probably could have averted much pain.

We don't go after an answer until our current situation becomes uncomfortable. Alcoholics Anonymous uses the term "BOTTOM" to describe this spiritual place of transformation we all must achieve before we can learn the lesson, whatever the lesson is. I continue to find myself at the point of surrender and using inventories keeps me humble and able to learn lessons almost painlessly.

Lessons are within the configuration of life through change. And as change is constant, accepting it and lessening the pain associated with fighting change would be wise. As we get older the scars associated with fighting change and missing the lessons, help us to decrease our desire to fight. It is the need for surrender and acceptance of learning the lessons of life that I always leave my readers with...
