I seldom do what I am about to do and want to apologize in advance. I usually hear plenty of debate, which I truly love. My political rant is this: I have two fiscal criticisms; one is that we must pay down our dept, period, and second that we must get the people of this country back into the steam of opportunity and God's grace by removing all thought of public entitlement. No one is entitled to anything but the love and support of God.My political agenda this campaign period is simple. First is our mammoth outstanding public debt, which as of 15 May 2012 at 04:45:47 PM GMT is $15,689,127,765,893.58. I have heard people say that we are at a point that we cannot recover from such debt. I for one am neither convince nor willing to see our country collapse through neglect. And as we are made in the image and likeness of God we are never limited by anything other than our perceived limitations.
Countries other than us dealing with tremendous debt include but are not limited to Italy, Greece, Ireland, Portugal, Spain and France, several countries spotted around the world. Our ability to continually print money and expand our inflation is the only thing that has kept us from facing our tremendous dept. If the American dollar were not at the center of world finance we would not be able to inflate our money in order to avoid paying our dept. The problem is that the more we inflate our money the deeper in dept we get.
The other problem we have in this country is the idea of entitlement. The people of this country have learned to look to the government for resolve, neglecting to remember that this country is of and by the people. The responsibility of this country lies on the shoulder of each and every one of us as we are the people eventually responsible for all that our government does. It is not hard to believe that the recent financial problems of this countries individuals is identical to the governments in that we are financially over extended.
The term entitlement seems to be the political term of the day. It is true that this country has taken a tremendous amount of programs originally designed to help us through difficult time and extending them into good times. This compiling of social benefits has become financially not viable. This entitlement is the cause of the government unable to stop enabling people to not stand on their own two feet.
This inability to face our entitlement obstruction is politically motivated toward votes? I wonder if it is even possible for candidates of any political position willing to express the truth to achieve the position necessary for resolve attainment. It is vitally necessity to remove all waste from government cost. It is a combination of the cost of running such a huge government and the lack of productivity leading us to a trade deficit that is the primary reason for our financial disarray.
I am sorry if this rant discovers that you too have an opinion but that is the primary reason I rant in the first place. I am often asked what I expect from my books and I always remark, "HMMMM!" I want you all to think. I want all of you to believe in something. As far back as 1947, Peter Marshall prayed, "Give to us clear vision that we may know where to stand and what to stand for, because unless we stand for something, we shall fall for anything.

Dr. Randolph Ek, Mpsy.D.I have been collecting quotes for over thirty years. A quote to me is like a charge of nitro to a racecar. It reminds me of how simple a solution can be and how much I need to be reminded of the greatness in all of us. We can never be reminded to often about our natural uniqueness and greatness.
I have quotes that date back as many as five thousand years. I am often surprised how much the problems and solutions of many millennium ago are so applicable to today's social dilemmas. I guess the problems may look a lot different but they are solved with simple solutions.
Quotes are also called sound bites, excerpts, passage or references. I use so many of these a friend of mine found many in my writings and calls them Ekisms. I try to add to my list and put them on my web site under the Ekisms tab found at: Ekismshttp://www.bizwiz3d.com/Ekisms.html .
If you would like a quote about a certain subject just email me at randyek@cox.net. Until then let people raise your consciousness with their wisdom and remember...

Let us all refrain from judgment and bask merely in the experience of life in the now; for it is the only time and place that God exists. It is in meditation that I find the solace of God as it is the only place I can separate God from all the other thoughts in my head. It is this reality that I always leave you with...

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." Matthew 6:24 King James version of the Holy Bible. God is of our spiritual nature and mammon is of our human nature or as I like to call Ego. Happiness is of God, while pleasure is of the Ego. Pleasure not only doesn't serve God it dissolves our long term happiness.
One of the most influential antagonists of my happiness is serving mammon over God through the portal of pleasure. I can easily justify pleasure in recognition of my emotions but emotions are a poor determinant of spiritual growth. Emotions are more a byproduct of Ego. I often hear someone explain that so or so made me feel something and I try to explain that their are only two true feeling, love and fear. Emotions are the variations of response to our feelings. What most people call feelings are actually emotions.
The problem that humankind has is settling for pleasure. Settling allows us to stay in a rut and not continually grow in the image and likeness of God. This does not work in the long term as God has a fail safe plan for our salvation. God helps prevent us from stagnation as this creates separation from God who is dynamic. This separation creates pain and eventually the pain becomes unbearable.
In prayer and meditation I ask for God to guide my thoughts, which eventually determines my actions. If I am constantly asking God to help me know God better I am asking for guidance toward my own greatness. I not only pray for greatness for myself, I pray for greatness in order to help lead others toward their greatness. This is the essence of my newest book project called, "Made In The Image and Likeness." It is also why I leave you with...

Motivational enthusiasts have been preaching about goals and plans for centuries. These processes seem to make sense at a mechanical level but what about a metaphysical level? Could it be that goals and plans have something to do with the order of the universe? Are goals and plans that critical for success? Could these ideas actually be cosmic laws?
Let's look at the facts. First, we are all made in God's image. Second, due to the incredible order of the universe there must have been a goal in God's mind and plans necessary for their consummation. After God created the universe he looked it all over and said, "it is very good." Although humans see fault in God's goal and plans, in God's eyes they are all perfect with still more plans necessary for ultimate execution. Never judge genius till the work is done.
God has a job description and that is to ANSWER PRAYER. Knowing God should always be our first prayer. We must closely follow our first prayer with a second, which is to ask God to deliver our "heart's desire." We are all given a "heart's desire." It is our heart's desire and all the passion that comes with it that should become our goal. Once this goal is established we continue to pray for God to show us the plans necessary for our goal's fruition. With enough faith that God will do what God says he will do we need only begin to find room for all the greatness God is sure to deliver. It is this faith that we end all prayers, "Amen," or "so be it."
After having followed my own advice I can guarantee that this process will work. I have seen it work for clients and friends for over thirty years. It is my faith in God and the process of goals and plans that I always leave my readers with...

I used to think I was being punished when my life didn't go the way I expected it to go. Then I was exposed to the process of inventorying my life. It was at this point that I realized every experience is filled with life lessons. In fact when I do my annual inventory I find that when I revisit old experiences I find that I always uncover new hidden lessons that I wasn't able to understand in earlier versions. In fact I have noticed that in reality I have never actually made a mistake as all roads seem to eventually lead to the my ultimate potential.
Although I cannot block God's plan for me, I can certainly make the road painful. God is in charge of all knowledge and God make it all available, all the time. All knowledge seems to be built upon other knowledge in a linear fashion. Knowledge is a working part of change and change is constant. The great revelation is that when we need to know, we seem to find what we need. If I would have known this at an earlier age I probably could have averted much pain.
We don't go after an answer until our current situation becomes uncomfortable. Alcoholics Anonymous uses the term "BOTTOM" to describe this spiritual place of transformation we all must achieve before we can learn the lesson, whatever the lesson is. I continue to find myself at the point of surrender and using inventories keeps me humble and able to learn lessons almost painlessly.
Lessons are within the configuration of life through change. And as change is constant, accepting it and lessening the pain associated with fighting change would be wise. As we get older the scars associated with fighting change and missing the lessons, help us to decrease our desire to fight. It is the need for surrender and acceptance of learning the lessons of life that I always leave my readers with...
